Product Return Policy

**If you purchased Starlight Instruments item(s) through an authorized dealer, please do not contact us. You must contact the dealer directly for their return policy and return the item to them.**

If you need to return an item for any reason, you may do so within 30 days of the shipping date. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

WARNING:

Your focuser has been engineered for long‑term reliability, but please observe the following precautions. Do not disassemble the focuser or attempt any self‑repairs. Any such actions will void the warranty. Additional details are provided below.

Two‑Year Focuser Warranty

We provide a two‑year warranty to the original owner. If, under normal use, any component of the focuser fails or shows premature wear during this period, we will replace it at no charge. The warranty becomes void if the product is disassembled, tampered with, misused, accidentally damaged, dropped, abused, modified, altered, or used with aftermarket components not approved by Starlight Instruments.

One‑Year Warranty for Laser Collimators & Electronics

All laser collimators and electronic components include a one‑year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase, applicable only to the original owner. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper power supply, excessive shock, or any attempts to adjust or modify the collimator.

Do not disassemble the laser collimator or the Electronic Focusing System, and do not attempt self‑repairs. Doing so will void the warranty.

Many internal adjustments are factory‑set and must not be altered by the customer. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty service requests.
